I love red velvet cake, and having it portable in a jar like that? Priceless! I hope Annie enjoyed her birthday and red velvet cake in a jar. I love the ribbon and candle, too!
xo,
Ricki Jill
What a delicious looking treat! It looks so enticing. Happy Birthday to Annie.
Looks delicious and cute!
How wonderful, I love red velvet cake and this is an amazing way way to make a Birthday that extra bit special.
Trifle in a jar…yum! Great idea Mary!
Your ideas are truly inspiring. Love this one’s color combo…might make it for a get together Saturday. Where did you find the cute candles?
What a clever idea!
Happy Birthday to Annie!
Thank you :) The candles were on the baking aisle at the grocery store by Cake Mate, but they’re on Amazon here.
Yet another cute idea from you! I’m been saving some jam jars for a project like this. I’m going to be a copycat!
Have a terrific weekend. ~ Sarah
so adorable, love all the extra touches you always share :)
Happy Birthday to Annie! She must have been thrilled to receive such a special treat as this, Mary. It looks delicious!
That’s a great picnic or barbecue idea! Why should Trifle be confined to Christmas?
I now have the jars, Mary, because I made the fall trifle you posted, and now this cute, cute, cute idea! I love it!! I love the red crumbs on the whipped cream! And the candle is DARLING!! I think i’m going to start collecting cute bday candles to be prepared when I need them! As always, thanks for sharing your VERY creative and beautiful ideas and for the inspiration. ~Zuni
Only YOU, Mary, would find scrapbook paper & ribbon to match!! I LOVE IT!!! I don’t think I’ve ever tasted red velvet cake. *sigh* Its a southern thang & seldom served around here. Yours looks delicious & anything you put in a jar has my name all over it. Very cute!
Happy Belated Birthday to Annie!
Oh my goodness, this looks delicious! Red Velvet Cakes is one of my weaknesses, so I can’t wait to give this a try.
So cute, and looks yummy too! Love the way the layers look in the jar. Pretty cute candle, too!
Oh wow – can I have one?
This looks just fantastic! I think it sounds delicious and looks pretty easy to make. I’ll give it a try. Thanks!
What a cute idea. I love it!
oh how pretty is that, and I am drooling, it looks so good!
All I can say is YUMMMM!! Gorgeous pics, Mary!!
Annie is a lucky girl ;o) These are adorable!
I am loving all the wonderful things I am seeing in JARS!!! This is fabulous! Love the black and white paper and ribbon. XO, Pinky
